Jay has his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Jay works with couples and individuals under the supervision and licensure of Dr. Kurt Wical. Jay specializes in helping couples and individuals heal relationships, and overcome issues such as chronic stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, and challenges with their personal life. Jay’s own experience with divorce and remarriage as well as his experience volunteering at a crisis call center led him on the path to be a therapist, specializing in restoring relationships.
Jay fosters a climate of purposeful inclusion in his work with clients, an environment where all can feel safe, valued, cared for, and given an opportunity to heal and form meaningful connections. Jay cherishes the diversity of humanity, a diversity which includes differences in sex, age, race, ethnicity, and national origin, range of abilities, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
