I serve couples, individual adults and families in creating better lives together. When you work with me, you can expect support in finding your voice, communicating it compassionately, increasing closeness in your relationships, and taking action on your dreams. I earned a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2016. I have training in Compassionate Communication and in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, and have a background in gender and sexual minority issues, as well as in child development. Prior to being a counselor, I taught early childhood music for children and caregivers for fifteen years, and worked for seven years with couples and families, teaching Compassionate Communication and Compassionate Parenting classes. When I am not seeing clients, I enjoy singing, songwriting, wildcrafting, and hiking.
