It is my belief that for change to happen people must first experience validation and acceptance for who they are and the experiences they’ve had. My therapeutic approach is one that is grounded in curiosity and encourages authentic expression of self, as I believe it leads to personal and relational health. The energy I bring to the room is empathetic, collaborative, and non-judgmental, with a hint of humor. I use experiential therapy, solution-focused therapy and structural therapy to assist me in working with individuals, couples and families. My main focus is to help clients live more authentic, empowered, and connected lives.
I received my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. I have completed trainings in PREPARE-ENRICH Pre-Marital/Marital Couples Assessment and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Prior to pursuing my master’s degree, I did in-home play therapy with children with autism and their families.
