Are you experiencing relationship upheaval, parenting challenges, lifecycle transitions, or other life stressors? Old wounds and unconscious patterns can hinder deep connection with ourselves and others. Therapy can help by shedding light on the root causes of emotional pain and disconnection so you can restore your balance and feel the joy of life again.

I work with individuals, couples, and families to explore what lies below the surface of symptoms like anxiety, depression, and relationship distress. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is particularly impactful in this process because it recognizes that our emotions—and the behaviors that follow from them—can serve as guideposts to our unmet needs and values. Together, we’ll look at ways to notice and interrupt unhelpful habitual responses. We’ll replace them with new patterns that bring you back into connection with the important people in your life–starting with you.

With over 25 years prior experience working in arts education and life coaching, I’ve developed a warmth and curiosity for the spectrum of human experience and our capacity for resilience. I have a special interest in the intergenerational effects of trauma, and a passion for the power of imagery, metaphor, and imagination to transform lives. As a marriage and family therapy intern working under the supervision of Kurt Wical, PhD, LMFT, and Carolyn Dehnbostel, MA, LMFT, I see clients at our Roseville location or via telehealth, on a sliding fee scale.
