Couple Therapy | Marriage Counseling

We'll help you improve communication and connection in your relationship.

Couple Therapy | Marriage Counseling

Maybe you are one of the many couples who find themselves having the same arguments over and over, and seem unable to break out of a pattern of hurt, disappointment, anger, and distance. Both of you end up feeling lonely and disconnected–and perhaps depressed or anxious too. Sometimes the pain is so great that things begin to feel hopeless and you might worry your relationship will end.

Our approach to couple therapy and marriage counseling, Emotionally Focused Therapy ( EFT), allows real change in your relationship to each other–even if other types of therapy haven’t been that helpful.. All of our therapists have advanced training in EFT, a research proven method that really gets to the heart of your relationship. EFT focuses on feelings and emotions, and what their meaning is in your relationship. Your therapist will guide you and your partner as you examine your emotional bond to each other. You’ll learn why it has been so difficult to communicate, and why the same issues keep coming up. Using the techniques of EFT, you can both feel like you really matter to each other. You’ll learn how to connect in deep, meaningful ways. You’ll be able to feel close and safe in your love, and your bond as a couple will strengthen and grow. Past hurts that seem too much to get over now can be dealt with, and new patterns can be created. Our expert therapists will guide you to a better, more satisfying relationship, built on a committed, secure bond.

See our page on Emotionally Focused Therapy for more information on this attachment based method of improving your relationship.
