Hello! I am so glad you are here. I offer a warm, curious, and compassionate presence, working with you relationally, collaboratively, and without judgement. I view therapy as sacred work that should honor you holistically - mind, body, and spirit. Using a systems and trauma-informed approach, we will take stock in the multidimensional experience that is uniquely yours. Psychotherapist Esther Perel says it best, “the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.” This could include your most intimate relationships, how you relate to your work, or the relationship you have with yourself. Whether you are experiencing upending life transitions, mental health crises, relationship struggles, or burn out, you deserve to process, make changes, and heal within a safe and affirming relationship.
Working with the research validated Emotionally Focused Therapy model, I know relationships are like a dance between people. As we work together, you will gain insight into deeply ingrained patterns that are no longer working and explore how you can relate to each other differently.
I am currently an intern pursuing completion of my Masters degree from St Mary’s University of MN in Marriage and Family Therapy under the supervision of Jean Budge MA, LMFT, EOLD. Previously, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy at Augsburg University, practicing in hospice settings with interests in the use of music for ketamine therapy. I had the privilege to work with individuals alongside their partners and families during highly vulnerable but meaningful moments. Music helped illuminate and communicate the complexities of human experience to bring people closer together while honoring an individual’s legacy and humanity. I bring that perspective with me in my therapy practice as well.
