Hi, I’m Claire! I’m so glad you’re here. In a field that often feels cold and clinical, I bring softness, color, and culture into the room. My work is deeply relational, trauma informed, and rooted in curiosity. My style is warm, gentle, and a little bit playful, with a bright, bubbly energy that I bring into every session. My hope is to offer a space that feels both grounding and meaningful, where thoughtful conversation and deeper emotional work can coexist. I create space for you or your teen to show up as your full self, messy parts, big feelings, awkward questions, quiet hopes, and all.

In the therapy room, I often show up in bright colors, especially pink. Playing with fashion and thrifting unique finds is one of the ways I express myself, and it brings a sense of warmth, creativity, and lightness into the space. Growing up in Minnesota gave me a deep appreciation for community and curiosity about the environments that shape us, which informs how I hold space for you as you explore your own roots, relationships, and sense of belonging. Music has also been central in my life. After playing the clarinet for over fifteen years and spending countless hours in marching band, I carry with me an understanding of rhythm and flow, and how tuning in can support grounding, expression, and reflection. Outside of the therapy room, I have a turtle named Mikki, who is a small, lighthearted presence in my day-to-day life. All of these parts of me come into the therapy room to help create a space that feels colorful, steady, curious, and alive for you.

I work with young couples, teenagers, and families who are facing hard things and longing to feel more connected and at ease. If you and your partner feel like your relationship has gotten lost in the shuffle of busy schedules, stress, or big transitions, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what is happening between you, and find your way back to each other. If you are a teen carrying big emotions, questions about who you are, or tension at home, I aim to offer a space where you can show up honestly and feel met with warmth and respect. If you are a family trying to stay connected while navigating stress, change, or ongoing challenges, we can work together to strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and create more moments of ease and togetherness. You do not need to have it all figured out before you come in. We will take this one step at a time.

There is something sacred about being fully seen, and I bring a calm, curious presence to help make that possible for you. With a good dose of brightness and heart, I aim to create a space where you can bring your whole self, whether you are coming in as a teenager, with your partner, or together as a family. My work is grounded in a systemic and relational lens, which means we will pay attention not only to what is happening inside of you, but also to the relationships, cultures, and systems that have shaped your story. The context you live in matters, and it has a real impact on how you cope, connect, and imagine change.

I show up with cultural humility and work from a decolonizing lens, staying open and eager to learn from you. I welcome folks from all cultural backgrounds and proudly affirm LGBTQ+ identities and relationships. I will stay deeply curious about your world, and together we will explore what repair, growth, or simply breathing a little easier can look like for you. You do not have to navigate these challenges alone, and therapy can be a place where support feels steady and collaborative within your relationships.

I see clients virtually and in person at MN Couple Therapy Center in Roseville under the supervision of Amanda Pikala, MA, LMFT.
