Hi, I’m Claire! I’m so glad you’re here. In a field that often feels cold and clinical, I bring softness, color, and culture into the room. My work is deeply relational, trauma-informed, and rooted in curiosity. My style is warm, gentle, and a little bit playful, with a bright, bubbly energy that I bring into every session. Think cozy coffee chats meets deep, soulful work. I create space for you to show up as your full: self messy parts, big feelings, awkward questions, quiet hopes, and all.
In the therapy room, I often show up in bright colors, especially pink. Playing with fashion and thrifting unique finds is one of the ways I express myself, and it brings a sense of warmth, creativity, and lightness into the space. Growing up in Minnesota gave me a deep appreciation for community and curiosity about the environments that shape us, which informs how I hold space for clients as they explore their own roots and connections. Music has also been central in my life. After playing the clarinet for over fifteen years and spending countless hours in marching band, I carry with me an understanding of rhythm, flow, and the ways music can support healing, whether through grounding, expression, or reflection. And at home, I share life with my turtle, Mikki, who is equal parts silly and fearful. All of these parts of me come into the therapy room, helping me create a space that is colorful, steady, curious, and alive.
I have a soft spot for families with young kids, especially those navigating trauma, disability, or developmental differences. I love supporting couples who feel like their relationship has gotten lost in the chaos of caregiving or just surviving, and are ready to reconnect. I also work with thoughtful, curious individuals who want to build more self-trust, clarity, and ease in their lives. You don’t have to have it all figured out before you come in. Let’s explore together, laugh a little, cry when we need to, and figure out how to make some healing happen.
There’s something sacred about being fully seen, and I bring a calm, curious energy to help make that possible. With a good dose of brightness and heart, I aim to create a space where you can bring your whole self. My work is grounded in a systemic and relational lens, which means I pay attention not just to what’s happening inside of you, but also to the relationships, cultures, and systems that have shaped your story. I believe the context we’re in always matters, whether it’s family, community, or larger societal structures. It deeply affects how we move through the world, how we connect, and what change can look like.
I show up with cultural humility and work from a decolonizing lens, always staying open and eager to learn. I welcome folks from all cultural backgrounds and proudly affirm LGBTQ+ identities and relationships. I’ll stay deeply curious about your world, and we’ll explore it together to discover what repair, growth, or just plain breathing easier looks like for you. You're not alone in this, I’m right here, walking beside you.
I see clients virtually and in-person at MN Couple Therapy Center in Roseville under the supervision of Amanda Pikala, MA, LMFT.
