As human beings we are hardwired for connection and joy, yet at times life circumstances, relationship dynamics, trauma, and distress hinder us. Depression, anxiety, and stress make it difficult for all of us to connect with others and thrive within our relationships. With decades of life experience as a leader, parent, and partner, I am passionate about helping others navigate through difficulties with a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy.

Areas of clinical interest include premarital, couples, individual, depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, grief and loss, trauma, life stage concerns, and religious concerns and abuse. I provide therapy to couples, individuals (18+), and families.

As a therapist, I am equipped and well trained to help couples and individuals reduce relational distress and build stronger connections with themselves and others. I have a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University and a MA in Psychological Counseling from Bethel University. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based approach to therapy. I am a certified facilitator for Prepare/Enrich, an assessment tool to build strong relationships. I am a licensed LMFT.

I look forward to collaborating with individuals from various backgrounds, including racial, ethnic, religious, and sexual orientation, in a welcoming, compassionate, and affirming environment. I take some forms of insurance and have a sliding scale for those who private pay.
