Beginning with my early desire to be an anthropologist, I am interested in human interaction and philosophies on “what makes us human”. I earned a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Goddard College in Vermont. My studies have centered around Expressive Arts Therapy (https://www.ieata.org/) and SAIGE (https://saigecounseling.org/our-mission/). I believe that we heal in relationships, as most harm occurs in relation to others, in relation to systems, and to the larger actions of historical and world events. I work towards developing a safe, warm and non-judgemental space for others as I genuinely want to be of service to your journey(s).
I have 250+ hours of training in Nonviolent Communication, Psychodrama, Meditation, Focusing and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples. In addition, I am certified as a reiki practitioner, yoga teacher, and death doula.
I practice under the supervision of Carolyn Dehnbostel MA, LMFT, and another IEATA Registered Supervising Therapist.
